SLM Toyota Uckfield Present Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare With Cheque

SLM Toyota Uckfield recently presented Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare with a cheque for £1,150.

  • Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare is passionate about the wellbeing of all animals and is committed to giving them the best possible life. They rescue, rehome and provide sanctuary for more than 2000 unwanted and abandoned animals each year. Raystede have been caring for animals for over 60 years but are always looking to the future, improving services and facilities as funding permits.

One important aspect of Raystede’s work is the long-term foster care of animals across Sussex & Kent, providing safe and loving environments until they can be returned to their owners. SLM Toyota Uckfield is generously supporting long-term foster care at Raystede through their Community Grant Scheme and recently presented the centre with a cheque for £1,150. This funding will help recruit, retain and assess potential foster families and provide all the necessary veterinary needs and supplies for the animals in their care.

Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare is proud to be working in partnership with SLM Toyota, giving animals and their owners a better life. Pictured at the cheque handover is Raystede Head of Fundraising, Marketing & Communication Carl Cawthorne (far left), SLM Toyota Uckfield Marketing Manager Mel Ball (middle left), along with Fundraising Officer – Corporate & Trusts Mark Phillips (middle right) and Raystede Chief Executive Nigel Mason (far right).

Everyone at SLM Toyota Uckfield is extremely proud to be able to give back to the local community and see first hand how the money is being spent and benefitting the lives of many animals. This is just start of our fundraising and working relationship with the centre and we hope that we can continue to raise lots of money for such an amazing cause.
