SLM Celebrates Two Years Supporting Sara Lee Trust

SLM have celebrated supporting the Sara Lee Trust for two years with another generous donation.

• Here at SLM we recently celebrated two years of supporting local charity Sara Lee Trust.
  
  Last month, we were able to donate a further £804. This means that since 2016 we have donated over £15,000 to them. This money has helped to support over 550 counselling sessions (or over 680 sessions) for people living with cancer and other life threatening illnesses.

  We are all very pleased to have been able to give something back to the local community and support them for such a long amount of time. We have been able to see first hand how much of a difference donations make to the charity and those who use it, which is why we look forward to being able to continue our donations.

  Jo, a user of the Sara Lee Trust services, commented: "The Sara Lee Trust were a great support to me during my own breast cancer treatment by giving me someone to talk to and a time for me to be supported and helped through aromatherapy massage. I will always be grateful to them and endeavour now, to give them my time through volunteering in different roles, to try and help others going through cancer and other life threatening illnesses.
