Toyota's all new sports combines the impressive pull of its 2.0-litre, 197bhp engine with a kerb weight of just 1,180kg. The result is a hugely engaging drive: a vehicle that can be driven as an extension of the driver's body. This is a true sports car, and one that can be enjoyed every day.

Striking Design

The taut, aerodynamic exterior design says so much from a distance, but it’s up close that the full character of the GT 86 comes to the fore. Special 17" alloy wheels feature the exclusive '86' piston logo, while LED daytime running lamps, high-intensity discharge headlamps and dual exhausts finished in chrome enhance an already powerful presence.

Inside, sports seats deliver the perfect driving position. The simple, bold instrument cluster encircles a large tachometer. And styling details include carbon-effect trim, aviation-style rocker switches and lightweight aluminium pedals.

Manual and automatic transmission are available, the latter featuring a six-speed paddle shift function.
 

Toyota Touch

GT 86 features the innovative Toyota Touch as standard. This new multimedia system provides a single interface for control of the audio, MP3 player and mobile device which can be connected via Bluetooth for maximum ease of use. The 6.1” display screen even changes into a rear view monitor to assist with parking.

Stepping up to the Toyota Touch and Go system provides the added convenience of Satellite Navigation with safety camera warning and live traffic information. A whole new world of connected services is also made available.
